Ingredients

  1. 1.1 lbslean beef (about 500 grams)
  2. 1/2onion
  3. 1espresso cup fine bulgur wheat (you can add more if desired)
  4. 1 tablespoonkibbeh spice mix
  5. 1/2 teaspooncumin
  6. 10mint leaves
  7. 1hot chili pepper
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Black pepper to taste
  10. 1espresso cup water
  11. 3 tablespoonsolive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind the beef using a meat grinder.

  2. 2

    Grind the onion and mint together with the bulgur (the bulgur should be washed but not soaked).

  3. 3

    Mix the beef with the bulgur mixture, add the spices, olive oil, and a little water, and knead until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Spread the mixture on a plate, garnish with mint leaves, and serve.
