Quick Chocolate Pie

A very tasty cocoa cake that tastes like it has melted chocolate inside! Super delicious!
A few more tips
This recipe is from Argiro Barbarigou. It's great served with a scoop of ice cream, but also delicious on its own with a little simple whipped cream on top... or just plain! Thanks to ANGOLINA for the step-by-step photos.

Steps
- 1
In a bowl, combine the sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour. Stir with a spoon.
- 2
Add the melted margarine and milk, and mix with the spoon.
- 3
The batter will be very thick—don’t worry, that’s normal.
- 4
Spread the batter into a greased 9- to 10-inch round baking pan, using the spoon to help.
- 5
Sprinkle the sugar mixed with cocoa powder evenly over the top, then pour the boiling water over everything.
- 6
Even though it may look watery and odd, the water will be absorbed as it bakes and the cake will turn out moist. Don’t worry!
- 7
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.
