Ingredients

  • 1 cupchopped Cauliflower
  • 1 cupfinely chopped Green Capsicum
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped Red Bell pepper
  • 1/2 cupfinely chopped Yellow Bell pepper
  • 1 cupfinely chopped Carrot
  • 1 cupfinely chopped Cabbage
  • 8-10finely chopped French Beans
  • 2 Stripsfinely chopped Spring Onion
  • 1 cupFlour (Maida)
  • 1 teaspoonBaking Powder
  • 5-6Red Chillies (Soaked)
  • 5 ClovesGarlic
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 pinchOrange Food Color
  • 1 teaspoonWhite Pepper Powder
  • for frying Oil
  • For Sauce :
  • 1-2finely chopped Spring Onions
  • 4-5 clovesGarlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoonRed chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoonGreen Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tablespoonTomato Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoonVinegar
  • 1 teaspoonHoney
  • 1/2 teaspoonBlack Pepper Powder

Steps

    For the twist which I’ve given to it, soak the red chilies for approximately half an hour. Then grind them along with garlic cloves, a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon oil and make a paste.

    Wash all the vegetables and chop them accordingly mentioned in the ingredients.

  3. 3

    Take a bowl, add chopped vegetables, red chilli garlic paste, all purpose flour, baking powder, salt and orange food color, white pepper powder

  4. 4

    Add some water to this to make a thick batter. Just like you make for pagodas.

  5. 5

    Heat oil for deep frying and make fritters from this batter. Fry them on medium heat till they turn golden and crisp. Take them on an oil absorbent paper.

  6. 6

    Sauce - Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan. Add chopped spring onions and garlic, saute for 1 minute.Add the sauces and honey, saute for 1 min. Garnish with tomato and serve hot.
