Eave the butter at room temperature for a few hours until it is very very soft.

When the butter is soft, everything is very easy, place all the ingredients together in a deep bowl and knead until you have a thoroughly incorporated dough that is pliable.

If you like, you can divide the dough and add a full tsp of bitter cocoa powder to one half and knead until the cocoa powder is incorporated. This way, you will have one white and one dark piece of dough.

Form into cookies making two sticks or whatever shape that you like. If you have divided the dough to white and dark then you will have beautiful looking two-color cookies.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes at most, in a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
