Kalamarakia in the oven as if fried

Kalamarakia (calamari) that are easy and tasty. They are healthier than the fried ones (since you bake them), you can make them just as quickly, using less olive oil and most important, the kitchen stays clean!

Steps
- 1
Clean the calamari, wash them, remove the skin by pulling it from one end and cut them into rings about one finger thick. Keep the tentacles and head whole.
- 2
Place them in a bowl add the lemon juice, as much salt as is needed and the ouzo. Mix them and set aside to marinate for 1 hour in the fridge (I left them longer).
- 3
After they marinate, strain the liquids and add plenty of flour so that they are well coated and dry on all sides.
- 4
Line the baking tray with the greaseproof paper, brush it with oil or even better, spray with oil or add just a little over the calamari and after you shake them to get rid of the excess flour, spread them on one layer on the baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C.
- 5
Leave them until they get golden brown. You don't have to turn them over.
- 6
Remove from the oven and serve (optionally) with lemon. Bon appétit.
