Steps

Boil 1/2 kg of water with the butter, add all the flour at one go and mix with a wooden spoon until all the water is absorbed.

Remove from heat, add the baking soda and the eggs and work it until you have a firm dough.

Place the dough in a pastry bag with a star tip then press the bag so that you have small pieces of the dough to the size that you like.

Fry the mini tulumbas in hot oil until golden brown.

Remove them with a sifter ladle and place on a platter.
- 6
Boil the ingredients for the syrup for a few minutes and when it is ready, pour it over the tulumbas.
