Line a pyrex baking tray with the rusks, pour the syrup that you should have already prepared over them and sprinkle with a little cinnamon.

Meanwhile prepare you pudding. Mix the pudding powder and the sugar in a cup of milk and whisk well. Boil the rest of the milk in a pot, remove from heat and slowly add the mixture of milk and pudding powder, still whisking at all times. Place over heat and boil a little more, while stirring. Cover the rusks with the cream and if you like, sprinkle a little cinnamon once more.

Prepare the whipped cream and spread over the top.

Sprinkle with the ground walnuts and place in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours.
