This is a shang hai style Filipino egg roll dish that i enjoyed growing up with. I like pairing it with vinegary soy sauce recipe that i learned from my Auntie they're both easy to cook.

This is a shang hai style Filipino egg roll dish that i enjoyed growing up with. I like pairing it with vinegary soy sauce recipe that i learned from my Auntie they're both easy to cook.
Cooking Instructions

Prepare the ingridient and chop the vegetable into smaller pieces

I used food processor to mince them if you dont have any just use grater
- 3
On a large bowl combine the vegestables and the ground pork together with minced pickles
- 4
Season with salt, sugar and black pepper
- 5
Wrap the filling with egg roll or spring roll wrapper
- 6
Then fry it on medium to low heat until golden brown
- 7
For the deeping sauce start with a tbsp of sugar on a small bowl, 2 tbsp of white vinegar, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, a touch of black pepper then add the minced or chop onion and chillies then give it a little mix

Drain the excess oil, serve together with the sauce and enjoy you food ☺

Well I wanted an easy egg roll recipe. Ok, there is no such that I would label as easy, maybe easier, but not easy. That said, this was more just a lot of steps than difficult. The actual hardest part was separating the wrapper skins. But the flavor is good. I would add some grated carrots next time also. I think chopped up hot chillies would be good, but my wife said no.
