Ingredients

  1. Halfa dozen eggs
  2. 3/4 cupmedium soy sauce
  3. 1/4 cupdark soy sauce
  4. 1 tspfennel seeds
  5. 1 stickcinnamon
  6. 2-3star anise seeds
  7. 1 tbspbrown sugar
  8. 1 tspSzechuan peppercorns
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 1/2 tbspgreen tea leaves
  11. 1tea bag
  12. Salt
  13. Black peppercorns

  17. 1 tspfennel seeds
  18. 1 stickcinnamon

  20. 1 tbspbrown sugar
  21. 1 tspSzechuan peppercorns
  22. 1bay leaf
  23. 1/2 tbspgreen tea leaves
  24. 1tea bag
  25. Salt
  26. Black peppercorns

Steps

    So that's alot of ingredients, but they give you this beautiful fragrance trust me.

    So, let's hard boil some eggs for 10 minutes

  3. 3

    Take em out, cool em with cold water. And with the aid of a spoon, gently tap the egg to crack the shell.

  4. 4

    Crack the shell around the entire egg and place each egg in an empty pot.

    Add all your ingredients and boillllll, reduce the heat and simmer at low. You can simmer all day if you like, the longer the better

    When ready to eat, take out, cool, peel, voilà!!!

    Crack the shell around the entire egg and place each egg in an empty pot.
