Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cuppacked chopped mint leaves (podhina)
  2. 1/4 cuppacked chopped cilantro (hara dhania)
  3. 1 tablespoonchopped ginger (adrak)
  4. 1 tablespooncumin seed dry roasted and powdered (bhuna jeera)
  5. Pinchasafetida (hing)
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1 teaspoonblack salt (kala Namak)
  8. 3 tablespoonslemon juice
  9. 1 tablespoontamarind seedless (imli)
  10. 2 tablespoonsugar adjust to taste
  11. 4 cupswater
  12. 1 cupcrushed ice

Steps

15 min.
  1. 1

     Blend all the spices into the paste using enough water needed to blend.

  2. 2

    Strain the spice mix and squeeze all the spicy water out. Discard the roughage.

  3. 3

    Add the sugar, water, mix it and serve over the ice.
