Ingredients

  1. 250gram mawa(khoya)
  2. 100gram paneer
  3. 2tablespoon all purpose flour
  4. as neededGhee or oil for deep frying
  5. 1/2teaspoon baking powder
  6. For sugar syrap
  7. 2cup sugar
  8. 2-1/2cup water
  9. as neededCrushed almond for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Sugar Syrup: - Take a pan, add water and sugar and bring to boil.
    Stir till sugar dissolves properly, leave it on low flame.

  2. 2

    Gulab Jamun: - take a big bowl and add flour, mawa paneer and baking powder, mix well and knead it for 5 minutes.Grease your palm with a little oil and make small balls of the mixture.

  3. 3

    Deep fry the balls, when they turned golden brown, strain out and add them in sugar syrup.

  4. 4

    Give two boils to this syrup and take out the gulab jamuns in a serving dish. Garnish with almonds and serve hot.
