Ingredients

3 serves
  1. 500 gflour
  2. 1 pinchsugar
  3. 2 tspsalt (add more if you please)
  4. Oil for frying
  5. 1 tspcinnamon

Steps

    Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.

  2. 2

    Add in 4 tbsp of oil. Then add warm water gradually while kneading with your thumbs.

    Knead to form a soft dough. It shouldn't be very soft, it also shouldn't be too hard.

  4. 4

    Allow the dough to rest for just 20 minutes. Divide the dough into 6 to 7 equal balls.

  5. 5

    Roll the small balls in circular form about 0. 25 inches.

  6. 6

    Apply on tbsp of oil on top of each chapati and start to fold from one edge to the other to form a rop like dough.

  7. 7

    Then fold to form a ball of dough. Do this for the remaining dough.

  8. 8

    Roll each ball. Try to form a perfect circle. But if not its okay.

  9. 9

    Heat the pan. In medium heat. Then place the rolled chapati in the pan, spread oil on top esp to the edges, turn and cook the chapati until golden brown in both sides.

    Serve hot
