Steps
- 1
Wash the broccoli thoroughly under running water, cut into pieces, and include the stem, cut as well. Boil in water that covers it for about 8 minutes, and a bit longer for the stem, as it is tougher.
- 2
Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
- 3
In a hot pan, add the butter and oil, then add the chicken strips and brown them well.
- 4
Once the chicken strips are fried, remove them and lightly brown the onion and garlic.
- 5
In a blender, combine the onion, garlic, stems, and some broccoli florets (reserve some), cream, a bit of milk, salt, and pepper. Blend very well.
- 6
Add a bit more butter and pour the cream into the pan where you browned the chicken. Set aside.
- 7
Let the sauce cook for a few minutes, then add the chicken strips.
- 8
You can prepare rice with the cooking water and serve it with the chicken.
- 9
Serve the fajitas with the reserved florets and the rice made with the cooking water.
