Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak lentils for 3 to 4 hours.

Grind lentils into a smooth paste.

Add coriander leaves, raisins and salt in grinded dal.

Mix well till fluffy.

Mix sugar, salt and black salt in curd, keep aside.

Heat oil in a wok.

Make small balls from dal mixer with your palms and put in hot oil, keep the flame medium.

Put 4 to 5 vadas at one time.

Fry vadas on medium high flame.

Take out vadas on tissue paper.

Make all vadas like this.

Put vadas in hot water for 5 minutes.

Squeeze vadas and put in a plate.

Pour curd mixer on vadas.

Apply roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder.

Apply sweet tamarind chutney on it.

Garnish with sev and serve.
