Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 lbSmall, tender green beans, washed and trimmed
  2. 1 tspChopped red pepper
  3. 4 cloveGarlic
  4. 4Dill heads
  5. 2 cupWater
  6. 1/4 cupPickling salt
  7. 2 cupVinegar

Steps

  1. 1

    Pack beans into hot, sterile jars

  2. 2

    Add 1/4 tsp pepper, 1clove garlic and 1 dill head to each jar

  3. 3

    Boil water, salt and vinegar. Pour over beans. Cover and process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath

  4. 4

    Yield: 4 pints
