Ingredients

  • 2 lbchicken gizzards
  • 2 lbchicken hearts
  • 8serano chiles sliced length wise
  • 6roma tomatoes sliced length wise
  • 1 largeonion cut in half then sliced
  • 1salt to taste
  • 8 ozcan tomato sauce
  • 1handful cilantro
  • 1/4 cupoil

Steps

  1. 1

    boil gizzards and hearts about 15 minutes.

    drain water add 1/4 cup oil and fry till almost crispy.

  3. 3

    add all veggies and tomato sauce and let simmer about 10 minutes..
