I made this for my fiancée, and it was a success with him. It's the perfect lazy recipe when you really don't want to be in the kitchen for hours but want to make something really tasty.

I made this for my fiancée, and it was a success with him. It's the perfect lazy recipe when you really don't want to be in the kitchen for hours but want to make something really tasty.
Cooking Instructions

Bring water and salt to the boil, and cook the tortellini for 8-10 minutes.

In a second pot heat the olive oil, and add the onion, garlic clove, and bacon, cook for 8-10 minutes stirring regularly.

Drain the pasta from the water when done and run under cold water, it prevents the pasta from sticking together.

Add the cream, nutmeg, salt and pepper to the bacon and stir. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, for 8-10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened, stirring regularly.

Add the pasta, gently blend to together with the sauce, simmer only for another 5 minutes and enjoy.
