Ingredients

3 servings
  1. bunchfenugreek leaves , about 2 cups
  2. 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  3. 2 tspwater
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspchili powder
  6. 1 tspcumin seed
  7. 2 clovegarlic
  8. 1 tspmustard seed
  9. 2 eachdry red chillies or green chillies
  10. 2 tspvegetable oil
  11. 1 tspraw rice
  12. 1salt

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Clean and soak leaves in water, then wash and finely cut them along with stalk.

  2. 2

    Grind coconut with turmeric and chilli powder and cumin seed, garlic and salt

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and fry rice, red chillies and mustard seed.

  4. 4

    Add the leaves and coconut paste from step #2 and stir with 2 tsp water.

  5. 5

    Close the lid to let it cook on steam.

  6. 6

    Serve with rice or can be had as a salad.
