Spicy Tomato Soup

This is an experimental recipe I did, the kind where you have no idea if it'll taste nice or not but it actually came out tasting pretty nice. You can omit the lot of the optional ingredients and it'll still taste pretty nice.

Steps

In a medium pot, heat the olive oil over a medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and fry for 5-6 minutes.

Next add the can of tomato and stir. Cook for 2 minutes or so.

Add the potatoes and salt.

Next add the stock and bring to the boil. Cook the potatoes for 15 minutes. Or until they are cooked.

Prepare the cornflour by adding 1 tablespoon of cornflour with 2 tablespoons of water and mixing well until well combined. And then add to the stock just before it starts to boil

You may need to add extra water during cooking.

Add 1 tablespoon at a time of the oyster and soya sauce until it reaches your desired flavour.

When the pan is off the heat add the parmesan cheese.

Check seasoning.

When serving add the croutons, drizzle a splash of olive oil and enjoy.
