Ingredients

  1. 4 largeonions, chopped
  2. 2 tbspolive oil
  3. 10garlic cloves, minced
  4. 4 can(28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
  5. 7 can(15oz each) tomato sauce
  6. 2 can(6 oz each) tomato paste
  7. 1 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  8. 1 cupminced fresh parsley
  9. 1/4 cupdried basil
  10. 2 tspdried oregano
  11. 2 tbspitalian seasoning

Steps

    In a stock pot, saute onions in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 2 minutes longer. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, cheese and herbs. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 2-3 hours or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally.

    Serve desired amount over spaghetti. Cool remaining sauce, transfer to freezer containers. Freeze for up to 3 months.

    TO USE FROZEN SAUCE:

    Thaw in the refriigerator overnight. Place in a sauce pan and heat through.
