I cook my meatloaf in a bunt pan because I love the presentation. Fill the middle with mashed potatoes and cover with gravy. It's the perfect self serve family meal.

I cook my meatloaf in a bunt pan because I love the presentation. Fill the middle with mashed potatoes and cover with gravy. It's the perfect self serve family meal.

Ingredients

  1. meatloaf
  2. 6 ozflavored croutons of your choice. I use garlic
  3. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  4. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 tspcayenne pepper
  6. 1 tspchili powder
  7. 1 tspground thyme
  8. 1 cansliced carrots (drained)
  9. 1 stickcelery, chopped extremely fine
  10. 2 clovegarlic cloves, minced
  11. 1/2 cupchopped mushrooms (optional)
  12. 36 ozVery lean ground beef
  13. 1 eachlarge egg
  14. Glaze
  15. 1/2 cupketchup
  16. 1 tspground cumin
  17. 1 tbsphoney
  18. 1 tspworcestershire sauce
  19. 1 tsphot sauce. I use Frank's red hot

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Set oven to 325°F Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Combine croutons and seasonings for meatloaf in food processor and blend until fine.

  3. 3

    Mix together the meat, veggies, and crouton blend by hand until mixed well.

  4. 4

    Pack the final mix into your pan and bake until the center reaches 155°F Fahrenheit

  5. 5

    Whisk all glaze ingredients together while waiting for the meatloaf.

  6. 6

    Remove from oven, take the loaf out of the pan with the original exposed side facing down. Glaze all parts that were not exposed to direct heat and put back in oven for 15 minutes.
