California Dog

I love hot hogs, and I've been kinda bothered that San Francisco doesn't have a hot dog style. Seattle has a dog. Even L.A. Has a dog. SF needs a dog. This one isn't really San Francisco worthy though. I googled California dog and the recipe I found was pretty lame, so, I feel comfortable stealing the concept.

Steps
- 1
Steam your frank.
- 2
Toast your bun.
- 3
Toast nori gently until it stiffens. I just fan it over a stove burner for 30 seconds or so.
- 4
Crush the avocado and season with salt, chili powder, and lemon juice.
- 5
Smear a bit of yogurt on the toasted bun.
- 6
Add a smear of guacamole
- 7
Add your steamed frank.
- 8
Add a big pinch of sauerkraut.
- 9
Fold the nori sheet in half, then slice into fine batons.
- 10
Finish with a big pinch of nori sprinkles.
