Steps

Heat oil in a large pan or Dutch oven. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground meat and stir over heat until cooked through.

Add remaining ingredients, except the salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for about an hour, skimming often.
- 3
Adjust seasoning, and serve.
