Ingredients

  • 2 cupgranulated sugar
  • 1 cupunsalted butter
  • 1 cupbuttermilk
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1 tspvanilla extract

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt sugar and butter together in a large sauce pan.

  2. 2

    Add buttermilk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat

  3. 3

    Add baking soda and vanilla and stir. It will foam up. Once it does, serve on pancakes.
