Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. 3/4 cupmushrooms
  3. 1 canwater chestnuts (drained)
  4. 1 tbspground ginger
  5. 2 tbsprice vinegar
  6. 2 tbsplow sodium teriyaki sauce
  7. 1 tbsplow sodium soy sauce
  8. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  9. 1/2 cupgreen onions
  10. 1/2 cupshredded carrots
  11. 1/3 cupsliced almonds
  12. 2 tbsppure sesame seed oil (divided)
  13. 1 packagesromain hearts lettuce

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 1tablespoon of sesame seed oil in skillet

  2. 2

    Add chicken and cook for 3minutes or until Brown

  3. 3

    Add water chestnuts and mushrooms and ginger to chicken mixture, stir and let cook for another 5minutes or until chicken is no longer pink

  4. 4

    Add rice vinegar, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder remainder of sesame seed oil and crushed red pepper to mixture and stir while still heating on fire

  5. 5

    Top mixture with carrots,onions and almonds

  6. 6

    Spoon onto romain hearts and enjoy
