Cut package of bacon down the center so you have half sized pieces

Fry bacon until nearly done

Turn heat down to low and add syrup, vanilla and brown sugar

Stir all ingredients until evenly mixed, and syrup begins to caramelize, about 1 minute

Remove from heat before it begins to burn. Use tongs to pull each piece out of pan, and place on cooling rack without touching any other pieces (DO NOT use paper towel)

Once cool, enjoy the delicious combination of sweet and salty bacon!
