Pound ingredients until it is a pasty condition

Remove stems from Thai chili peppers and add to mortar

Add crushed red chili pepper to mortar and toss with spoon

Add fish to mortar and pound fish until bones are incorporated

Add fish sauce to mortar and toss with spoon
