AWESOME!!! I think next time though I'll rub the seasonings on dry and under the skin. I also tucked a clove of garlic under the skin on each leg piece and put the rest in the pot.

Ingredients

  1. 3 lbcut-up frying chicken
  2. 1 tspsalt
  3. 1 tsppaprika
  4. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  5. 1 tspolive oil
  6. 1 largeonion, sliced
  7. 20 clovegarlic

Steps

  1. 1

    In a small bowl mix salt, peper, paprika and oil to form a paste, spread evenly over chicken.

  2. 2

    In a 5-6 quart slow cooker, place onion slices. Arrange chicken over onion. Separate garlic into cloves, place around chicken.

    Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours.

    With slotted spoon, remove chicken to a platter. Serve garlic and onions on the side or use in a side dish such as mashed potatoes or green beans or both!
