Sweet Roll Pastrami and Provolone Sliders

I have been seeing a lot of recipes online for the Hawaiian Sliders, I love them, so I decided to fix them different ways. I use maple ham on some and smoked turkey also. I use maple syrup in place of honey on maple ham and a slice of pineapple. I use white sauce on the turkey ones.

Steps

20 mins
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

Depending on how many rolls you are using, get a pan to fit the rolls in snug so they touch. Slice each roll in half.

  3. 3

Spread mayo and mustard on each side of sliced rolls.

  4. 4

Place bottom of rolls into pan. Top bottom roll with pastrami with amount you desire.

  5. 5

Place shredded cheese over pastrami. If using sliced, I fold mine into fourths and place in center of meat.

  6. 6

Add the tops of rolls when all sliders are assembled.

  7. 7

Mix the melted butter, honey and parsley in a small bowl until well combined.

  8. 8

Spread over tops of rolls until well covered. Place aluminum foil tightly over pan and let sit 10 minutes so the butter mixture has time to soak in rolls.

  9. 9

After 10 minutes, bake still covered for about 5-8 minutes or until cheese melts and meat has warmed.

  10. 10

Uncover and return to oven to slightly brown tops. I just put them back in a few minutes because rolls stay softer in my opinion.

  11. 11

    Enjoy :)

  12. 12

Can use ham, turkey, roast beef or any meat of your liking.

  13. 13

Serving size varies depending on how many rolls you use. I try to get shaved meat and if making more than 12, you can always get more than 1/2 pound as stated in recipe.
