Steps
- 1
Clean, wash and soak Urad dal for 2 hrs in warm water...mix rest of the ingredients except 9 10 11 12 and grind to a fine paste..Just like the batter of Dahi Bhalla...
- 2
In a kadhai heat ghee or refined oil and deep fry the mixture balls on medium heat.
- 3
Boil 1 litre milk in a large bowl to 1/3 and put the hot Urad dal balls from kadhai into the milk after being cooked. This balls absorb milk and get swollen up to double the size.
- 4
For RABRI...I took 1/2 litre full cream milk.. boiled....put 50 gm home made mawa and 2 tbsp sugar (you can take more)... stirring the milk continuously till reduced to half... Rabri is done
- 5
Mix the rabri with the prepared Urad dal balls soaked in milk.. I have mixed Kesar(saffron) to rabri to get a good colour and taste...
- 6
You can use friend dry fruits and tooty-fruity for garnishment. SARAPULI is ready. Keep in refrigerator... Tastes like icecream. Thanks
