Blend dal coarsely into a thik paste,preferably in a food processor, using as little water as possible.

In a bowl mix all the spices. add to the wheet flora and maida,mix well.add the dal paste to the flour and from into a soft dough, using lukewarm water as needed.

Dough will bea little sticky.grease you palm. twoteaspoon of oil over the dough and knead for one minutes. cover the dough with a cloth.

Oil your palm and knead the dough again and divide.oil palm again and roll the parts into smooth balls, set aside.

Oil the rolling pin and rolling surface.roll the balls gently circles. heat oil in a kadhai, over medium flames. fry the puri till the are golden brown on both sides. serve hot.
