I'm originally from Chicago and have missed the hell out of good Italian Beef, came up with this because I was homesick

Mix water, dry Italian dressing, garlic salt, black pepper, and Cilantro in a pan and bring to a boil

Place Beef Roast in a Crock Pot and pour mixture over roast and add Bay Leaf
- 3
Cook on lowest setting for 8-10 hours
- 4
Take fork and knife and start shedding the roast.

Add onions and peppircinnis and cook in crock pot for another half hour
- 6
Serve on hoagie rolls. For added treat put Italian sausage in roll first and dip whole sandwich in sauce.
