Ingredients

  1. 19"Graham cracker pie crust
  2. pie filling
  3. 2 cup.milk. divided
  4. 2/3 cupgranulated sugar
  5. 3 tbspcornstarch
  6. 1/8teaspoo salt
  7. 1 largeegg
  8. 1 cupbutterscotch morsels
  9. 1 tspvanilla extract
  10. topping
  11. 1 1/2 cupfrozen whipped topping thawed
  12. 1_1.4 oz candy bar Heath crushed

Cooking Instructions

    In a large bowl ,combine 1/2 milk ,2/3 cup sugar ,and the next 3 ingredients, stir well together , set to side .

    Heat the remaining 1 1/2 cup of milk, in a heavy saucepan. Over medium high heat .@180° or till tiny bubbles form around the edge (do not boil). Remove milk from heat

    Gradually add hot milk to sugar mixture ,stirring constantly with a wisk,....pour back from into saucepan, add the butterscotch morsel to milk mixture ,stir, cook for 5 minutes ,stirring constantly until thick and bubbly ,reduce heat on low for ,2 minutes ,constantly stirring . Now pour into pie shell and let cool 15 minutes place in refrigerator for 2 hours till pie is cold

    Top with whipped topping and crushed heath bar , slice and serve , and enjoy

    Keep in refrigerator after
