1) How to make lauki ke kofte : Wash & remove peels of lauki. Grate it. Now squeeze water. Keep water aside. (use it in gravy)

Add besan, red chilli powder, coriander powder & salt in grated & squeezed lauki.

Make round balls.

Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Deep fry these lauki kofte in hot oil on medium flame.

Keep it aside.

2. Making of gravy: Grind onion & ginger in Mixie jar. Heat oil in Kadhai. Add onion paste, garlic paste. Saute it until light brown.

Add tomato puree. Saute until it removes oil. Add dry spices. Mix well saute again for 2-3 minutes. Add curd or cream.

Add squeezed lauki water & 1 cup more water in it. Boil it. Simmer the flame

Add lauki kofte. Boil it for 5-7 minutes. Switch off gas.

Garnish with onion & cream. Serve with chapati or Jeera rice.
