Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupChopped onion
  • 3 tbspButter
  • 2 cupMashed cooked pumpkin
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tbspBrown Sugar
  • 1/4 tspNutmeg
  • 1 pinchGround pepper
  • 3 cupChicken Broth
  • 1/2 cupHalf and Half (or whip cream or CC)

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown onions with butter.

  2. 2

    Add mashed pumpkin and all seasonings.

  3. 3

    Slowly add chicken broth and heat thoroughly, but don't boil.

  4. 4

    Remove from heat and stir in cream.

  5. 5

    Enjoy!
