Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 lbLean ground turkey
  2. 1/2 cupRefrigerated shredded hash brown potatoes
  3. 1/4 cupSliced green onions
  4. 2 tbspGrated Parmesan cheese
  5. 2 tspMinced garlic
  6. 1/4 tspSeasoned salt
  7. 1 dash1/8 teaspoon pepper
  8. 1/4 cupMayonnaise or salad dressing, if desired
  9. 4Whole wheat hamburger buns, split
  10. 4Lettuce leaves
  11. 4 sliceTomato, if desired

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except mayonnaise, buns and lettuce. Mix well. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties. Place patties on broiler pan.

    Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165ºF.

    Spread mayonnaise on cut sides of buns. Place lettuce, turkey burgers and tomato on bottom halves of buns. Cover with top halves of buns.
