Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsleftover rice
  2. 2 cupsfrench beans chopped
  3. 1 tbspred chilli flakes
  4. 1 tbspsalt
  5. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  6. 3bay leaves
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1 tspcaraway seeds
  9. 3cinnamon sticks
  10. 1/2 cupcoriander leaves chopped
  11. 3-4green chillies slit
  12. 2 tbspchana masala
  13. 3 tbspghee
  14. 2onions sliced thinly

Steps

    In a cooking pot, heat ghee and add the bay leaves and the cumin seeds along with the cinnamon sticks and the caraway seeds.

    Next, add the sliced onions and the ginger garlic paste along with the slit green chillies.

  3. 3

    Saute for 2 minutes until it gets done.

  4. 4

    Next, add the powdered spices and the french beans.

  5. 5

    Cover with a lid and cook until tender for about 10 minutes or so. Do not over cook. They should retain the crunchy texture.

  6. 6

    Adjust salt accordingly and garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve hot with raita and salad.
