do not preheat your oven. should go into a cold oven.

Cream the softened butter and sugar together.

to your butter mixture add your eggs one at a time. Beat after each egg.

In a separate bowl add your flour, salt and baking powder. I sifted this all together to combined.

Alternately add flour and heavy cream to batter. Beginning and ending with flour.

stir in your extracts and zest.

Spray a bunt pan with non stick baking spray. Add your batter to pan.

Place in oven and set oven temperature to 325. Baking for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

let cool on a wire rack for 10 to 20 minutes. Then turn out on to plate.

note : if using salted butter omit salt. This is a good all purpose pound. Good just as it is or with sweetened strawberries . Or good with a glaze.
