
Mexican Holiday Cheese Ball

Make tomatillo salsa.

Push through a strainer to remove all liquid, and measure 3/4 cup of the strained salsa.

In a bowl, mix the 3/4 cup salsa, cream cheese, grated cheese, lime zest, green onions, and jalapeño sauce.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Place in refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix cilantro and almonds together.

Remove cheers from refrigerator and form it into a large ball.

Coat the ball evenly with the cilantro/almond mix.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill until serving.

Serve with your favorite crackers, crudites, etc.
