My mom used to make these using a piping bag, but I found an easier way. This has more steps that I originally anticipated, but still it's an easy recipe to follow. You can make these using a piping bag but the potato paste needs to be runny for easy piping. It's best to strain the potatoes for a smooth texture. It's easier to shape with your hands. I got a lot of sweet potatoes...Sweets are nice sometimes, aren't they? When microwaving the sweet potato, doing so on a low setting (200 W) slowly helps to bring out the sweetness. If you have a pizza cutter, use that to cut the dough easily. When baking in an oven , to avoid burning, cover with aluminum foil midway through and bake for 8 to 9 minutes. I love the salty butter flavor of "Osatsudoki" snacks, and wondered if I could recreate it at home. I gave it a try and my family loved it.☆So I published the recipe. If you slice the sweet potato too thick, it's difficult to quick-fry. Please be sure to adjust the flavor in Step 1. I added salt last, and it was nothing but a lump of salt in the end.I'm scared of flying hot oil, so I combined the oil and the sweet potato together. The oil doesn't have to be pre-warmed for you to be able to quick-fry.
