Steps

Heat oil and add jeera and hing and fry onion and lasun and mix it. Cook it till onion become translucent.

Now add potato and khandeshi kala masala and turmeric. And mix it.

Add rice and dal and mix it well. Add double quantity water and salt as per taste and mix it and let it cook till all water evaporates and rice cooks.

Now pour ghee on top and mix it and serve it hot.
