The ona has already been processed into what we call iwu if you are from anambra,awka to be precise you will kw wat am talking about, so back to our iwu procedure

Add warm water to the iwu and filter

Pound your fresh pepper and crayfish

Dissolve your ogiri

Dissolve your potash

Add the above ingredients together depending on the amount of person you are serving so one ingredient is not more than the other

Mix your palm oil with the above ingredients

Add your iwu(ona) to the above mixed ingredient and add salt and maggi
- 9
Ready to be served with either your smoked/dried fish, pomo, suya meat etc i served mine with dried fish! Enjoy
