Best Beef Roast Slow Cooker/Crockpot/Ninja

Love this roast, so tender and good! I cook mine in my ninja cooker. It makes Alot of gravy. I served it over some steam rice I made in my rice cooker. Although, in my pic I just spooned a little bit of gravy from the pot over mine, but you can put however much you want over yours, because it makes a good bit. I also served this with my Mexican cream cheese corn which is also very good!!! You can also serve this roast on hoagies sandwiches, and dip into a side of the gravy. I do it both ways sometimes.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Season both sides of roast with meat tenderizer, garlic powder and onion powder and sear it on stovetop until it's got that brown color on both sides. And then put it into your slow cooker/crockpot. I have a ninja so I can just that on my stovetop function, in the same pot I'm gonna cook it in.
- 2
Add the water and pepper juice to pot. Also, the sliced onions.
- 3
Now...sprinkle all on the roast, and around it - the 1 pack of McCormick Au Jus Gravy packet first, the 1 pack of Hidden Valley ranch packet, and then the beefy onion soup mix packet on roast. Then lay the whole stick of butter on top of the roast. Then scatter the peppers on top of the roast, all around the butter.

Cook on high 4-6 hours or low 6-8 hours. Serve over rice. (you can click on this picture and it will show you the whole and bigger pic). ALSO, my mexican cream cheese corn recipe is on here too.

My dad loves beef. So this is in honour of him. He is slowly losing his sight. Rough days deserve, comforting ways. This will be served with a shrimp penne in a garlic butter sauce as a surf and turf dinner, he loves shrimp too. skunkmonkey101 -
French Onion Roast Beef, Slow Cooker French Onion Roast Beef, Slow Cooker
Tried a different recipe, this is loosely based off of that one. We were not a fan of this other recipe, but the technique was solid. So here i am using the technique, but completely different recipe. Since I am an onion fan, French onion seemed like a good choice. As it turned out, this was awesome! This is one of those that when you eat it, you can't believe how good it turned out. Fo Fa -

My Roast Beef Recipe My Roast Beef Recipe
I adapted a recipe that was in my oven's instruction manual and added garlic as well as the resting step. The sauce is my original. After rubbing in the ingredients, if you let the meat rest, the flavors will penetrate and add flavor.Add the meat juices to the sauce to make it richer. If you are serving this to adults, add plenty of black pepper and it'll be a great appetizer with drinks. You can use shortening and Krazy Salt instead of the combined ingredients if you like.
