  2. 4diced potatoes
  3. 2bay leaf
  4. 2 tspground cumin
  5. 1 tspsea salt
  6. 1water
  7. 1 tspblack pepper
  8. 3 cupLentils
  9. 5 clovegarlic cloves

Steps

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

    Rinse lentils until water runs almost clear.

  2. 2

    In a big pot, put lentils, diced potatoes, chopped onions, garlic, and seasoning.

  3. 3

    Cook slowly for 1 hour or until lentils and potatoes are COMPLETELY soft

  4. 4

    Serve with bread of mandazi
