I came up with this recipe while keeping the taste of the supermarket's macaroni salad in mind.It's important to wait until just before eating to mix in the yogurt.It's also delicious if you mix in some tuna or bacon.If you mix in the mayonnaise and vegetables while the macaroni is still hot, it will absorb the moisture of the macaroni and make it hard when cooled. My mother in law introduced me to this salad. The large amount of pickles and eggs is what makes this salad so good.Be sure to make plenty of dressing. Error on the side of making this salad a bit too wet. As it sits, this salad will absorb a lot of the dressing, making it dry if you do not use enough.

This is, by far, my favorite macaroni salad recipe. The tuna really makes it!
