Ingredients

  • 2 lbboneless round steak, cut into strips
  • 2 mediumonion, cut into 1/4 in. wedges
  • 1 tspdried thyme
  • 4 tbspvegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cupred wine or beef broth
  • 2 can(14 1/2 oz each) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 4 can(11 oz each) Mexicorn, drained
  • 1Hot cooked rice

  1. 1

    In a skillet or wok over medium-high heat, brown steak, onion and thyme in oil.

  2. 2

    Add wine or broth; simmer for 10 minutes or until liquid has evaporated.

  3. 3

    Stir in tomatoes; cover and simmer 15 minutes longer.

  4. 4

    Add corn; heat through.

  5. 5

    Serve over rice.
