Rice Paper Galette Rice Paper Galette
I wanted to think of a new way to use rice paper. The cheese has some saltiness, so I don't add any extra salt. Sprinkle some on the egg if you like. This cooks up quickly, so for best results, don't turn on the heat until Step 2.You can also add some boiled spinach or bacon as a filling. Looks Like Waffles, But It's Galette Looks Like Waffles, But It's Galette
The galette I got is cooked in a monastery, so it's more tender and sweet. The shape is different from what I knew before, so I wanted to try and imitate it.Make sure the batter is completely mixed by using a spoon each time you switch on the processor because otherwise it won't be completely mixed. The real galette is smaller, and more like a square waffle shape. This is like "Trappist Galette" If you do not have a waffle maker, then bake it like cookies or in a frying pan.
