If you don't have caster sugar, all it is really is a finer grain of granulated sugar, so crushed or pulverized granulated sugar is a fine substitute.

Cooking Instructions

10 mins
  1. 1

Pour sugar into a blender, a food processor, or a clean coffee mill. Keep in mind that this technique can scratch up the sides of a plastic container pretty bad, so you might not want to use a brand new food processor or blender. A mortar and pestle would also do a fine job, though somewhat more difficult.

  2. 2

Buzz the sugar on high until fine.

  3. 3

Substitute for caster or superfine sugar in any application.
