Ingredients

  • 1 cupWhole wheat flour -
  • 1 cupSugar -
  • 1/2 cupWater -
  • 1 /4 cupClarified butter / ghee -
  • 1/4 tspWhole dried milk / mawa -
  • 1/4 tspCardamom powder -
  • 100 gmsGond -
  • 1/4 tspWhole black pepper -
  • 1 tbspCahew nuts -
  • 1 tbspAlmonds -
  • 1 tbspRaisins -

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat clarified butter / ghee in a wok.

  2. 2

    Add gond and fry it.

  3. 3

    Add cashew nuts,almonds and whole black pepper fry it and strain it.

  4. 4

    Again heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan.

  5. 5

    Add whole wheat flour and stir continuously and roast till it turns brown and give out the fragrance.

  6. 6

    Add whole dried milk / mawa and mix well.

  7. 7

    In another pan add sugar and water till sugar disolves.

  8. 8

    Keep it medium flame for 8 -10 mins.

  9. 9

    Add roasted whole wheat flour,fried gond,whole black pepper and cardamom powder and mix well

  10. 10

    Garnish with roasted almonds,cashew nuts and raisins.
