Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsSpinach/ palak -
  2. 150 gmsPaneer -
  3. 1 cupTomato puree -
  4. to tasteSalt/ namak
  5. 1 teaspoonGinger garlic and green chilli paste -
  6. 1/4 teaspoonGaram masala -
  7. 1/2 teaspoonCiba Kitchen king masala -
  8. 2 tablespoonsOil/ tel -
  9. 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds/ jeera -
  10. 2 tablespoonsFresh cream -

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash spinach and grind it. Cut paneer in cubes.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. After it crackles, add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.

  3. 3

    Add tomato puree and saute until oil gets separated from the spices.

  4. 4

    Add ground spinach, remaining spices, salt and water. Cook for 7-8 minutes on medium flame.

  5. 5

    Add paneer and cook for 2 minutes and then switch off the flame. Garnish with cream.

  6. 6

    Delicious and healthy 'Palak Paneer' is ready to be served with roti/ rice.
